Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about how Polaris Connect, Polaris Intelligence and your Technology Plan work.
What is Polaris Connect?
Polaris Connect is an independent technology advisory company. We help businesses understand what they need across connectivity, voice, mobility, cybersecurity, cloud and AI, and then help them compare options from multiple providers.
How does Polaris Connect help businesses?
We start with your business — what's happening, what's not working and where you're headed. From there we help you understand which technologies fit, which providers may serve your location, and what to look for before you commit. One advisor helps you through the process instead of you calling several providers yourself.
Is Polaris Connect an internet service provider?
No. Polaris Connect is not an internet service provider, carrier or phone company, and we don't own networks. Services are delivered by the providers you choose.
Does Polaris Connect work with multiple technology providers?
Yes. Our approach is to compare options across multiple providers rather than recommend a single one. Which providers can actually serve you depends on your location and requirements, and is confirmed with the provider before you make any decision.
How much does it cost to use Polaris Connect?
Building a Technology Plan with Polaris Intelligence does not require payment. How Polaris Connect is compensated for advisory services is [Pending approval: advisory pricing / compensation policy].
What is Polaris Intelligence?
Polaris Intelligence is the guided discovery experience on this website. You describe what's happening in your own words, it asks a few focused follow-up questions, and it builds a preliminary Technology Plan you can review, print and discuss with an advisor.
How does Polaris Intelligence create recommendations?
It uses an AI model to understand your answers, keep track of the facts you've shared and identify what your business needs. It then explains its findings in plain language and labels what was stated by you versus what was inferred. Recommendations are preliminary and are reviewed by a human advisor; Polaris Intelligence does not check provider availability or pricing itself.
Are Technology Plans final quotes?
No. A Technology Plan is a preliminary, educational summary of your needs and possible approaches. It is not a quote, a proposal or a binding offer. Pricing, availability, eligibility and contract terms always come from the provider and must be confirmed before you decide.
Can Polaris help with existing services or contracts?
Yes, you can share what you have today — current providers, approximate costs and contract end dates — and we'll take it into account. We can help you understand your options around your current arrangements, but we don't give legal advice about contract terms.
Can Polaris support businesses with multiple locations?
Yes. Tell Polaris Intelligence or your advisor how many locations you have and how they're used. Options and availability are confirmed for each service address.
Can Polaris help with cybersecurity, cloud, voice, mobility and AI?
Yes. Alongside connectivity and networking, we help with voice and collaboration, mobility, cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, and AI and automation — and how they fit together.
How do I speak with an advisor?
After you build your Technology Plan you can book a time with an advisor directly. You can also use the contact form on our homepage at any time without using Polaris Intelligence.
What happens after I submit my information?
Your request goes to the Polaris Connect advisor team. A Polaris advisor may review your plan or request and follows up using the contact details you provided. If you booked a time, you'll receive a calendar invitation. Response times are [Pending approval: advisor response-time commitment].
